The A203 Meet Director Exam is designed to certify professional members to serve as meet directors for sanctioned USA Gymnastics Acrobatic competitions. The exam focuses on promoting conformity and consistency in the application of USA Gymnastics rules and policies within the competition arena throughout the United States.
Course Details
Individuals must be at least 18 years of age to register. Upon registration, participants will have 30 days to complete the course and the associated open-book exam, which covers information contained in the current Acrobatic Program Rules and Policies. Participants will have one opportunity to pass the 19-question exam with a minimum score of 85%. Additional testing opportunities require separate registration and payment. Once earned, the Meet Director Certification does not expire.
Meet Directors hosting a competition are provided free of charge the "Meet Sanction Toolkit" which includes resources for hosting a successful competition, including recorded introductions, printable signage and more.
To print course certificates, individuals must have an active USA Gymnastics membership (Recreational Coach, Competitive Coach, Judge, Owner/Managing Director, or Athlete).
Fees & Policies
$15 for USA Gymnastics Members: Recreational Coach, Competitive Coach, Owner/Managing Director, Judge, Meet Director, Athlete (age 18 and older)
Course fees are non-refundable and cannot be transferred to another individual.
Course registrants must be a minimum of 14 years old.
