Evita Griskenas (Orland Park, Ill./North Shore Rhythmic Gymnastics Center) claimed a top-20 all-around finish at the 2023 Baku World Cup in Azerbaijan over the weekend.

Giskenas posted a combined 115.200 to tie for 20th with Ukraine's Polina Karika in individual all-around competition. Bulgarian athletes Stiliana Nikolova and Eva Brezalieva were first (133.800) and third (126.300), respectively, while Italy's Sofia Raffaeli placed second (129.700). American Erica Foster (Chanhassen, Minn./NorthWest Rhythmic) scored a 103.050 in the all-around.

During qualifications, Griskenas scored a 30.300 on hoop, 29.600 on ball, 27.950 on clubs and a 27.350 on ribbon. Foster was also active in Friday and Saturday's hoop (27.100), ball (25.550), clubs (28.550) and ribbon (21.850) qualifications.

The Senior National Group of Izzy Connor (Palos Verdes Estates, Calif.), Daria Merkulova (Vernon Hills, Ill.), Gergana Petkova (Barrington, Ill.), Katrine Sakhnov (Glencoe, Ill.), Karolina Saverino (Elk Grove Village, Ill.) and Hana Starkman (Deerfield, Ill.) was 14th in all-around competition with a 47.400. They scored a 29.900 in five hoops and a 17.500 in three ribbons and two balls qualifications.
