INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (April 11, 2023) - Gymnastics fans can get a front-row seat on the path to Paris with all-session tickets now on sale for the 2023 U.S. Gymnastics Championships, August 24-27 at SAP Center in San Jose, California.

The Paris Olympic Games take place less than 11 months after the U.S. Championships, ensuring that San Jose will be where current and future Olympians begin their 2024 dreams in earnest. Athletes will compete for national titles and a place on the U.S. National Team.

Star gazing

Among the women, expect the field at SAP center to be see established champions like Olympic medalists Jade Carey and Jordan Chiles, World Championships silver medalist Shilese Jones, and defending U.S. champion Konnor McClain welcome back medal-winning elite gymnasts who have been competing at the collegiate level. Several past Olympic all-around champions also are currently training at the elite level and may compete in San Jose.

Among the men, stalwart veterans like Olympians Yul Moldauer and Shane Wiskus and reigning U.S. still rings champion Donnell Whittenburg will be joined by an exciting generation of college freshmen, led by World Championships all-around finalist Asher Hong of Stanford and five-time Junior Pan American Championship gold medalist Fred Richard of Michigan, among many top-tier current collegians.

About the 2023 U.S. Gymnastics Championships

Tickets: All-session tickets cover eight sessions of competitions over four days. Senior and junior men will both compete in separate sessions on Thursday, August 24 and Saturday, August 26, with senior and junior women competing Friday, August 25 and Sunday, August 27. Early-bird pricing for all eight sessions starts at $150 for USA Gymnastics member clubs and $186 for the general public.

What's at stake: The annual national championship event for artistic gymnastics in the U.S. will determine the men's and women's junior and senior all-around and individual apparatus national champions, and USA Gymnastics will announce its National Teams. The Championships are held in conjunction with the USA Gymnastics National Congress and Trade Show, which will run concurrently at the San Jose McEnery Convention Center.

Local history: SAP Center previously hosted U.S. Olympic Team Trials for women in 2016 and men and women in 2012 and the 2007 Visa Championships, among many national championships in other gymnastics disciplines.
