Stevens and Van Natta posted a 44.500 to clinch a podium spot. Their score was topped only by Brazil (46.340), who earned top honors, and runners up Ukraine (46.010).
Starting the day with a 56.570 in Round 2 qualifications, Vogel advanced to the men's individual trampoline final where he delivered a top five performance (56.660). Ryan Maccagnan's (Colorado Springs, Colo./Stars Gymnastics) 55.800 in Day 2 qualifications landed him 10th, just outside the final in the first reserve spot. Kazakhstan's Danil Mussabayev topped the field with a 59.240.
Vogel was also active in the men's synchro final with partner Zachary Ramacci (St. John, Ind./Element Tumbling and Trampoline). The duo placed eighth with a 32.720. Kazakhstan led the way with a (51.940).
In the women's individual trampoline division, Ava Hernando (Holmdel, N.J./Elite Trampoline Academy), who was competing in her first FIG World Cup, finished among the top 10 slotting in seventh with a 50.560. Camilla Gomes of Brazil took gold behind a 54.860.
Elite U.S. trampoline and tumbling athletes will be back in action March 3-5 for the Winter Classic in Daytona Beach, Fla., which marks the start of the 2023 selection season.
