WEST LAKE VALLEY, Utah (July 28, 2022) - Caroline Moreau (Keller, Texas/Texas Dreams) and Camie Westerman (Frederick, Md./Hill's Gymnastics) captured all-around titles in the 11-12 and 13-14-year-old age divisions, respectively, as the Hopes Championships capped the 2022 Hopes season Thursday at Utah's Maverik Center. Each also topped the uneven bars standings in their age group.

Moreau's combined 50.050 and 12.550 on uneven bars led the way in the 11-12-year-old division, while Westerman posted an all-around score of 49.100 and a 12.100 on bars to claim gold among 13-14 year olds. In the 11-12 age group, Lailah Danzy (Tulsa, Okla./Pride Gymnastics Academy) set the bar on vault with a 13.400, while Lila Richardson (Springdale, Ark./Hopes and Dreams Gymnastics) topped the scoresheet on balance beam with a 12.950, and Isabella Anzola (Statham, Ga./Georgia Elite Gymnastics) paced all competitors on floor exercise with a 12.600. In the 13-14-year-old division, Reese Esponda (Clancy, Mont./Roots Gymnastics) earned top marks on vault (13.100) and balance beam (12.800), and Jazlene Pickens (Pickerington, Ohio/Buckeye Gymnastics) took the crown on floor with a 12.450.

Based on performances Thursday, the following athletes will receive funding to USA Gymnastics development camps through the next year.
