Dear Parkour Community,

Following the Parkour event at the recent World Games, USA Gymnastics has received requests for information surrounding the the FIG Parkour World Championships in Tokyo, Japan - October 14-16, 2022. Therefore we have extended the submission deadline for the Expression of Interest to Friday, July 29, 2022.

If you, or someone you know is interested in possibly participating, we must receive the expression of interest form(s) along with a color copy of your passport and a headshot by Thursday, June 29th at 5:00pm EST.

Requirements for participation in a FIG World Championships (selection procedures and detailed information to be sent following the Expression of Interest deadline):

  • Member of USA Gymnastics in good standing
  • Valid FIG license
  • At least 17 years of age before 12/31/2022
It is not necessary to be a USA Gymnastics member or have a valid FIG license to submit an expression of interest.
