AROSA, Switzerland (June 29, 2022) - Seven of the nation's top trampolinists are headed to Arosa, Switzerland, for the FIG World Cup 51st Nissen Cup July 1-2. Among them are two-time Olympian in women's trampoline Nicole Ahsinger (Lafayette, La./Trampoline and Tumbling Express) and the reigning AERE World Cup women's trampoline champion, Sarah Webster (Lafayette, La./Trampoline and Tumbling Express). More than 17 countries will be represented at the Sports and Conference Centre Arosa over the course of the two-day event.

Fresh off of national championship performances in individual and synchronized women's trampoline, Webster is eyeing back-to-back World Cup titles after becoming the first U.S. athlete to top an individual trampoline World Cup podium in nearly eight years last month in Rimini, Italy. She and Ahsinger will be joined by World team all-around silver medalists Maia Amano (Honolulu, Hawaii/Fairland Gymnastics), Cody Gesuelli (Huntsville, Ala./Merino Trampoline Gymnastics Academy), Isaac Rowley (Allen, Texas/Eagle Gymnastics Academy) and Jessica Stevens (Ellicott City, Md./Fairland Gymnastics), and the 2021 Junior Pan American Games silver medalist in men's trampoline, Elijah Vogel (Longmont, Colo./Elevated Trampoline Sports Academy).

All seven gymnasts will compete in individual trampoline, while the pairs of Gesuelli and Vogel, Ahsinger and Webster, and Amano and Stevens will take on the men's and women's synchronized trampoline fields.

Ahsinger, Rowley and Vogel will begin individual trampoline qualifications Friday with Group 1 at 6:30 a.m. ET. Amano and Gesuelli have been assigned to Group 2, which will hit the trampolines at 7:15 a.m. ET. Stevens is on deck with Group 3 at 8 a.m. ET, and Webster will wrap up individual qualifications with Group 4 at 8:45 a.m. ET. Synchronized trampoline qualifications will follow in two groups, starting with Ahsinger and Webster in the early session at 10:30 a.m. ET and the remaining U.S. duos at 11:15 a.m. ET.

The top-eight individual gymnasts in each division, limited to two per country, will qualify to the finals, slated for Saturday at 10:20 a.m. ET. The top-eight men's and women's pairs will compete in the synchro finals, beginning at 11:10 a.m. ET. Only one pair per country may advance to each division's championship round.
