Mizuno and Azerbaijan's Arzu Jalilova both notched scores of 30.100 in the ball final, but the former U.S. group member was edged out of the fifth position once the tie-break criteria was applied. Griskenas, who made her 2022 international debut over the weekend, earned a 28.500 on ball in the first of two apparatus final appearances Sunday. She also posted a 25.950 on ribbon to close out competition in Baku. Bulgaria's Boryana Kaleyn topped the field on both apparatus behind scores of 33.050 on ball and 29.750 on ribbon. All-around champion Sofia Raffaeli of Italy led the way on hoop with a 34.900. Israel's Daria Atamanov claimed gold on clubs with a 30.950.
Griskenas and Mizuno will return to the world stage May 20-22 at the FIG World Challenge Cup in Pamplona, Spain.
