TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, April 17, 2022 - On the final day of the 2022 Tashkent World Cup, Alexandria Kautzman (Simi Valley, Calif./California Rhythms) finished seventh and eighth, respectively, in the ball and ribbon apparatus finals after qualifying to each based on her performances earlier in the week.

Kautzman posted a 26.450 on ball and a 25.350 on ribbon Sunday at the Gymnastics Sports Palace to close out her first FIG World Cup appearance. Germany's Margarita Kolosov claimed the top spot on ball with a 30.600, while Slovenia's Ekaterina Vedeneeva led the way on ribbon with a 30.150. All-around champion Takhmina Ikromova captured the hoop (31.700) and clubs titles (31.500).

The FIG World Cup series continues April 22-24 in Baku, Azerbaijan. Olympians Evita Griskenas (Orland Park, Ill./North Shore Rhythmic Gymnastics Center) and Lili Mizuno (Northbrook, Ill./North Shore Rhythmic Gymnastics Center) are set to represent the U.S. at that event with Griskenas slated to make her 2022 international debut.
