A wired internet connection is recommended, if possible.

Go to the exam registration page and click the red button to begin at the exam start time.
Time Calculations
All judges should start the exam promptly at the official exam start time of 2:45pm EST for the Level 6-8 (with Int/Adv Group) exam.
Judges will be in control of pressing the "play" button for each routine and advancing the slides to the next routine.
It will not be possible to pause or rewind routines.
For routines with difficulty forms, 30 seconds is calculated into the exam time for each routine for you to find the correct form before pushing play on the routine.
All difficulty routines will play one time. All execution routines will be played two times.
You will have 2 minutes after each routine to review your notes and input your answers in the online portal.
Once a judge has submitted their answers, they may click to move on to the next routine. If the time to submit answers on a routine runs out, the exam will automatically prompt the judge to move on to the next exercise, recording any answers already given.
Judges should finish evaluating the last routine of the exam by the exam end time (8:00pm EST). There is a 15-minute grace period for the ending time on each exam in the case of technical difficulty or other delay. The exam portal will remain open for an additional 15 minutes after the stated end time for each exam. After that point will close and only consider answers given up to that point.
Question Types
For exam routines without difficulty forms, questions will be presented textually. For example, the exam will ask, "What is the value of the 1st (first) DB?". The judge will have buttons that they can select 0.0, 0.1, 0.2, 0.3, etc.
For exam routines with difficulty forms, the symbols from each "box" on the form will appear on the screen. A judge will click those symbols and receive buttons that they can select the value given – 0.0, 0.1, 0.2, 0.3, etc.
It will not be required to type any information in for the exam questions. For all questions, judges will click the box of the correct answer, like a multiple choice exam.
There will be only one correct answer for each question. In the case that there was a discrepancy in control scores for a question, the question/element will be valued 0 points, however, the judge will still put in their score.
Exam Integrity
Judges must work independently and refrain from collaborating with others during the exam.
To ensure that each judge is giving an independent score, the routines will be randomized within each component of the score and event on the exam.
For example, while judging the 4 Level 6-8 ball routines, some judges will receive them in the order A, B, C, D, some D, C, B, A, some B, C, A, D, and so on.
Once a judge submits their score (or time runs out and the test moves on), it will not be possible to return to previous routines to change answers.
Passing Scores/Results
A passing score for the exam is 60%.
Results will be emailed to participants within one to two days from the exam completion.
Retest
A re-test opportunity with different exams will be available on February 26th (same times) for anyone who cannot participate in the original test date or needs another opportunity to pass. Only one re-test date will be offered.
Exam Creation & Grading Process
The control scores for each component of the exam have been determined by subsets of the following individuals:
Caroline Hunt – Vice President Rhythmic Program (and FIG Technical Committee Member)
Elena Savenkova – Development Program Coordinator (and Brevet I/II Judge)
Jayme Riggleman (Vincent) – Rhythmic Program Manager (and Brevet III Judge)
Olga Kutuzova – Rhythmic Judges Representative (and Brevet IIII Judge)
In cases where there were differences in control scores between graders, the element in question will be set to a value of 0pts in the exam, meaning, it will not matter how the test-takers answer that question. This is to ensure that any questionable elements/components are not part of the judges' evaluation.
Additionally, any elements that were determined to be difficult to see, due to the video angle will be set to a value of 0pts on the exam and it will not affect grades.
In any case where the apparatus goes out of the top of the screen on a throw, it is to be assumed that the apparatus was thrown high enough to meet the height requirement of the element in question.
Difficulty Forms
After the close of registration, test takers for the Level 6-8 (with Int/Adv Group) exam will receive difficulty forms by email for the following components of the exam:
Level 6 – 2 Rope, 2 Hoop, 2 Ribbon
Level 7/8 – 3 Hoop, 3 Ball, 3 Clubs, 3 Ribbon
Intermediate Group- 3 Hoop
Advanced Group– 3 (three) 3+2 apparatus
Judges should print these forms in advance of the exam.
Forms and routines will be clearly labeled. For example, one form and routine pair will be clearly labeled "Level 6 Rope A" and the other "Level 6 Rope B".
Forms will be organized by apparatus and level when sent to the judges, but all judges will receive the routines in alphabetical order – Ribbon A, Ribbon B, Ribbon C, etc. The judge will need to choose the form that matches the routine they are about to judge. One judge may receive Ribbon B first on their screen and another may receive Ribbon C first, etc. An additional 30 seconds per routine with D forms has been calculated into the exam time for judges to take the correct form and prepare. The judge will control when they push play on the exam videos.
Int/Adv Group Notes:
For Intermediate/Advanced Group apparatus routines, some have more collaborations choreographed into the routines than the current rules allow. In the case of these group routines with forms, evaluate only the collaborations listed on the difficulty form.
We have not had the 3+2 combination of ball/clubs before. Due to this, the advanced group routines on the exam will be hoop/clubs and hoop/ball. Due to this, will not be required to evaluate fundamental apparatus elements on the Advanced Group Difficulty Routines.
