Course Description
The Rhythmic Levels 1 and 2 Coaching Course is an entry point into the sport of rhythmic gymnastics for both entirely-new and highly-experienced instructors. It is structured in tandem with the Introduction to Rhythmic Gymnastics e-book and meant to provide a step-by-step learning guide for beginning in rhythmic gymnastics: starting a program, curriculum ideas and how-to teaching guides.
This course, (together with the Introductory book), provides a framework and a practical guide to start a new rhythmic program and to teach the fundamentals of rhythmic gymnastics in a progression toward the Rhythmic Development Program of Levels 3-8, the competitive entry point in the discipline.
Course Details
The Y101: Rhythmic Development Program Levels 1 and 2 Coaching Course is available for any interested instructor from any discipline.
Minors taking the course must be logged in to their own profile, not their parent/guardian profile, to receive credit for the course. View page 2 of the Parent How-To Guide for further information.
To print course certificates, individuals must have an active USA Gymnastics membership (Recreational Coach, Competitive Coach, Judge, Owner/Managing Director, or Athlete).
Fees & Policies
$50 for USA Gymnastics Members: Recreational Coach, Competitive Coach, Owner/Managing Director, Judge, Meet Director, Athlete (age 14 and older)
$100 for Non-Members (note: certificates are unavailable to Non-Members)

Course registrants must be a minimum of 14 years old.
