Course Description

U305: Double-Goal Coach ®: Developing Triple-Impact Competitors is the third of three online courses for coaches through PCA (Positive Coaching Alliance). This is a highly interactive course, including several videos from coaches and top athletes.

This course is great for the high school coach wanting to take their athlete to the next level- from participant to true competitor. Specific tips and techniques will enable coaches to help athletes deal with high pressure meet situations as well as motivating fellow teammates to give their best effort.

U305: Double-Goal Coach ®: Developing Triple-Impact Competitors is self-paced and includes instructional modules and opportunities for interactivity and reflection. It also features easy-to-use tools and tips to help you put positive coaching practices to work right away!

Upon completion of this course individuals will have gained the ability to positively impact high school athletics by helping athletes respect others while earning respect themselves. They will have learned how to encourage athletes to improve themselves, their teammates, and game as a whole.

This course will take approximately 60 minutes to complete. There will be a warm-up survey, four content modules, course evaluation, and a final exam (must receive 80% or higher to pass).

• $29 for USA Gymnastics Members:
  Recreational Coach, Competitive Coach, Owner/Managing Director, Judge, Meet Director, Athlete (age 14 and older)
• $44 for Non-Members (note: certificates are unavailable to Non-Members)

• Course fees are non-refundable and cannot be transferred to another individual.
• Course registrants must be a minimum of 14 years old.
• Participants will have access to the course for one year after registration and may access the course as often as they wish during that period. The course must be completed during this time or re-registration and payment is required.

USA Gymnastics University

The U305 Double-Goal Coach ®: Developing Triple-Impact Competitors is an elective course in the School of Recreation, School of Competitive Gymnastics (Women, Men, Trampoline and Tumbling, Gymnastics for All, Rhythmic, and Acro).

In order to receive University credit, members must register for the U305 through USA Gymnastics.

Upon completion of the course, members can print out a certificate of course completion on their USA Gymnastics "My Profile" page. Please allow 1-2 weeks. To print course certificates, individuals must have an active USA Gymnastics membership (Recreational Coach, Competitive Coach, Judge, Owner/Managing Director, or Athlete).
