This course is designed to help gymnastics professionals understand the physical changes expected when athletes experience maturation and their peak height velocity, commonly known as their "growth spurt," and the expected differences in athletes during early vs. late maturation. Throughout the course, participants will learn the risks to athletes during this time and strategies to mitigate and reduce the likelihood of injury.
