U111:
Setting Healthy Boundaries with Athletes

Online Course

Course Description

Maintaining appropriate boundaries with minor athletes and their parents are crucial when coaching children. Healthy boundaries allow the coach and the parent to maintain objectivity while working for the best interest of the child. This course will take a look at boundaries as they relate to line of site, information sharing, needs of the child based on their physical and developmental age, parental boundaries, social media, and personal liability.
