U105 - Double-Goal Coach®: Coaching for Winning and Life Lessons

Course Description

The U105 Double-Goal Coach®: Coaching for Winning and Life Lessons is the first of three online courses for coaches through PCA (Positive Coaching Alliance). This is a highly interactive course, including several videos from coaches and top athletes.

This course is great for any coach, no matter their experience level. Individuals will be equipped with specific techniques and tips from leading researchers in sports and educational psychology to help them positively impact athletes- making them both enjoy and excel in their sport.

The U105 Double-Goal Coach®: Coaching for Winning and Life is self-paced and includes instructional modules and opportunities for interactivity and reflection. It also features easy-to-use tools and tips to help you put positive coaching practices to work right away!

Upon completion of the course coaches will have learned the importance of helping their athletes be winners both on and off the field of play. They will be able to help their athletes become great team members and honor the sport of Gymnastics through excellent sportsmanship.

This course will take approximately 60 minutes to complete. There will be a warm-up survey, four content modules, course evaluation, and a final exam (must receive 80% or higher to pass).

Fees & Policies

  • $29 for USA Gymnastics Members - Professional, Jr. Professional, Instructor and Athlete (age 14 or older)
  • $44 for a Non-Member Audit (a USA Gymnastics certificate or university credit is unavailable to Non-Members)
  • $44 for Non-Members (includes a complimentary Instructor Membership - 18 years and older - A background check is required). (A certificate/university credit is unavailable to Non-Members)

  • Online course fees are non-refundable and cannot be transferred to another individual.
  • Participants will have access to the course for one year after registration and may access the course as often as they wish during that period. The course must be completed during this time or re-registration and payment is required. Re-registration can only be achieved by contacting member services at 1-800-345-4719.

To print course certificates, individuals must have an active USA Gymnastics membership (Recreational Coach, Competitive Coach, Judge, Owner/Managing Director, or Athlete).

USA Gymnastics University

The U105 Double-Goal Coach®: Coaching for Winning and Life Lessons is an elective course in the School of Recreation, School of Competitive Gymnastics (Women, Men, Trampoline and Tumbling, Gymnastics for All, Rhythmic, and Acro).

In order to receive University credit, members must register for the U105 through USA Gymnastics.

Upon completion of the course, members can print out a certificate of course completion on their USA Gymnastics "My Profile" page. Please allow 1-2 weeks.

This is an online course!
