Double-Goal Coach®: Coaching for Winning and Life Lessons

Course Description

The U105 Double-Goal Coach®: Coaching for Winning and Life Lessons is the first of three online courses for coaches offered through PCA (Positive Coaching Alliance). This highly interactive, self-paced course features instructional modules, reflection opportunities, and videos from experienced coaches and top athletes.

Designed for coaches at any experience level, the course provides research-based techniques and practical tools drawn from sports and educational psychology to help athletes both enjoy and excel in their sport. Upon completion, coaches will understand how to develop athletes who succeed on and off the field of play, become strong team members, and honor the sport of gymnastics through outstanding sportsmanship.

Course Details

Registration Information: After registering, you will receive two emails from USA Gymnastics - one confirming payment and registration, and a second email containing specific course login information. You may need to check your spam/junk email to find this notification. If you do not receive an activation notice within 24 hours, please contact USA Gymnastics Educational Services (education@usagym.org).

This course will take approximately 60 minutes to complete. There will be a warm-up survey, four content modules, course evaluation, and a final exam (must receive 80% or higher to pass).

Minors taking the course must be logged in to their own profile, not their parent/guardian profile, to receive credit for the course. View page 2 of the Parent How-To Guide for further information.

To print course certificates, individuals must have an active USA Gymnastics membership (Recreational Coach, Competitive Coach, Judge, Owner/Managing Director, or Athlete).

This is an online course!

  • $29 for USA Gymnastics Members: Recreational Coach, Competitive Coach, Owner/Managing Director, Judge, Meet Director, Athlete (age 14 and older)
  • $44 for Non-Members (note: certificates are unavailable to Non-Members)

  • Course fees are non-refundable and cannot be transferred to another individual.
  • Course registrants must be a minimum of 14 years old.
  • Member Clubs have the option to register staff members for this course through Group Processing
