The J501 USA Gymnastics Women’s Category 1-4 & Level 10 Educational Course/Study Materials is designed to assist individuals in gaining knowledge of the Women’s Level 10 program, to assist judges who wish to use it as a study component in preparation for the Level 10 exam or as a review prior to judging, and for individuals using as continued professional education (CPE).
This Course provides:
1. Overview of the Development Program Optional Code of Points for Level 10 that are effective August 2026.
2. Written Study materials.
a. Written Practice Exam
b. Start Value Calculation Worksheets
3. Practice Judging with scripts and deductions.
4. Appendix items (be sure to refer to the Appendix items posted on the website under Disciplines: Women's Artistic: Judges: under Quick Links- 2026-30 Dev Program Code of Points Appendix).
Fees
The J501 Educational Course/Study Materials course fee is $80.00 for members and $150.00 for non-members.
USA Gymnastics University
The J501 USA Gymnastics Category 1-4 & Level 10 Educational Course/Study Materials will provide you with 10 online CPE Clinic Hours. Only up to half of the required CPE Clinic hours may come from online USAG University Courses or "live" CPE-Approved Virtual courses/clinics; the remainder must come from in-person CPE-Approved clinics. Excess hours from USAG University or "live" virtual courses/clinics may be used as "Miscellaneous" CPE hours.
Upon completion of these Study Materials (there is no score requirement), Judge members can print out a certificate of J501 Course completion on their USA Gymnastics "My Profile" page under Course History. This certificate can be used as necessary documentation for proof of CPE Clinic credit. To print course certificates, individuals must have an active USA Gymnastics membership (Recreational Coach, Competitive Coach, Judge, Owner/Managing Director, or Athlete).

This Online Study Materials course gives you the opportunity to study/review on your own schedule at your own pace in any order you wish. It is suggested that you first review the Development Code of Points and corresponding Appendix items.
Registration
Your registration for the 2026-2030 J501 course will provide you access throughout the 2026 – 2030 cycle. The course will be updated each year following the May Committee meetings.
