This Online Study Materials course gives you the opportunity to study/review on your own schedule at your own pace in any order you wish. It is suggested that you first review and/or print the revised pages posted in August 2023 (Optionals Updates) to assist in your studying of the other course components.
Registration
Your registration for the 2022-26 Level will provide you access throughout the 2022 – 2026 cycle. The Course will be updated following the May Committee meetings in 2024 and 2025 to use as a review.

Course Description
Educational Online course
The J501 Level 10 Judges' Course / Study Materials is designed to assist those who are preparing for the 2022-26 Level 10 Theoretical and Practical exams, as well as for any current Level 10 or higher rated judges who wish to use it for continued education and review. This course was originally the 2022-26 National/USA Brevet Judges' Course but has been updated with any changes effective August 1, 2023.

Overview of the Development Program Optional Code of Points changes for Level 10 that were effective August 2022. Additional Code updates/replacement pages from August 2023 are available at https://usagym.org/women/development/optionals/, see Updates.
Theoretical Study materials

Practice Judging with scripts of deductions.

Fees
The J501 Level 10 Judges' Course/Study Materials course fee is $75.00.
USA Gymnastics University
The J501 2022-26 Level 10 Judges' Course Study Materials will provide you with 10 CPE Clinic Hours. Only up to half of the required CPE Clinic hours may come from USAG University Courses or "live" CPE-Approved Virtual courses/clinics; the remainder must come from In-person CPE-Approved clinics. Excess hours from USAG University or "live" virtual courses/clinics may be used as "Miscellaneous" CPE hours.
Upon completion of these Study Materials (there is no score requirement), Judge members can print out a certificate of J501 Course completion on their USA Gymnastics "My Profile" page under Course History. This certificate can be used as necessary documentation for proof of CPE Clinic credit. To print course certificates, individuals must have an active USA Gymnastics membership (Recreational Coach, Competitive Coach, Judge, Owner/Managing Director, or Athlete).
