The J220 Xcel Platinum/Diamond/Sapphire Educational Course is designed to assist individuals in gaining knowledge of the Platinum, Diamond, and Sapphire divisions, to assist judges who wish to use it as a study component, as a review prior to judging, and for individuals using it as continued professional education (CPE).
Included in this Course are five sections: General Information, Vault, Bars, Beam, and Floor.
Each event section includes:
A review of the rules, special requirements and deductions
Practice Judging routines for all three divisions, with scripts of deductions
A short practice quiz on each section.
This Online course gives you the opportunity to study at your own pace in any order you wish, although it is recommended to start with General Information before moving to the next sections.
This course complements the Xcel Code of Points and Xcel Google Play Book
Fees
The J220 Level Educational Course fee is $25.00 for Members and $35.00 for Non-members.

USA Gymnastics University
The J220: 2022-2026 Xcel Platinum/Diamond/Sapphire Judges' Course will provide you with 5 CPE Clinic Hours. Upon completion of the course (there is no score requirement), members can print out a certificate of Course completion on their USA Gymnastics "My Profile" page, under Course History. This certificate can be used in conjunction with your registration confirmation as necessary documentation for proof of CPE Clinic credit. To print course certificates, individuals must have an active USA Gymnastics membership (Recreational Coach, Competitive Coach, Judge, Owner/Managing Director, or Athlete).
