2021-28 Women’s Xcel Platinum/Diamond/Sapphire Judges’ Course

Course Description

The J220: 2021-28 Women’s Xcel Platinum/Diamond/Sapphire Judges’ Course is designed to assist individuals in gaining knowledge of the Women's Xcel Platinum, Diamond, and Sapphire divisions, to assist judges who wish to use it as a study component, as a review prior to judging, and for individuals using it as continued professional education (CPE). It will provide participants with 5 CPE Clinic Hours.

Course Details

Included in this Course are five sections: General Information, Vault, Bars, Beam, and Floor. Each event section includes:

• A review of the rules, special requirements and deductions
• Practice Judging routines for all three divisions, with scripts of deductions
• A short practice quiz on each section.

This online course gives you the opportunity to study at your own pace in any order you wish, although it is recommended to start with General Information before moving to the next sections.

This course complements the Xcel Code of Points and Xcel iCode.

Minors taking the course must be logged in to their own profile, not their parent/guardian profile, to receive credit for the course. View page 2 of the Parent How-To Guide for further information.

To print course certificates, individuals must have an active USA Gymnastics membership (Recreational Coach, Competitive Coach, Judge, Owner/Managing Director, or Athlete).

Fees & Policies

• $25 for USA Gymnastics Members: Recreational Coach, Competitive Coach, Owner/Managing Director, Judge, Meet Director, Athlete (age 16 and older)
• $35 for Non-Members (note: certificates are unavailable to Non-Members)

• Course registrants must be a minimum of 16 years old.
