Course Description

USA Gymnastics invites you to attend the 2019 Acrobatic National Judges Workshop.

Please note: Invitations to this workshop include: Regional Clinicians, Regional Technical Committee Members, and any professional member invited by the Acrobatic Program Committee.

The 2019 National Judges Workshop will provide both education on the new and updated JO rules, as well as, the FIG rules, which apply to our international track/elite levels. The workshop will cover execution judging, artistry rules, tariff sheets, difficulty rules, and other judging practices. There will workshop sessions for ideas for the new quad pertaining to judging rules, policies, and progressions. Exam will be given at the conclusion of the course.

Please bring the following with you to the course:

• JO Code of Points (to include updates)
• Acrobatic Rules & Policies (to include updates)
• 2017-2020 FIG Code of Points (to include updates)
• 2017-2020 FIG Tables of Difficulty
• 2017-2020 FIG World Age Group Program
• Scratch paper and judging forms
• Bring flash drive

Participants:

• The course is intended for regional representation from the above judging professionals who are currently holding a regional position or appointed by the Acrobatic Program Committee.
• The course is required for those regional clinicians if they intend to teach a judging course for this next season 2019-2020.
• Anyone wishing to upgrade to national or national superior rating, must attend a regional course in which the upgrade exam will be offered. To be announced very shortly!
• Auditing will only be available at the regional courses.

Registration link for the National Judges Workshop is to the right. This workshop has NO fee. You will be responsible for your own flights, and food (breakfast is included) with hotel. Please choose room type when registering. The cost will be as follows:
Double room (sharing)-total per person for 2-night room and tax is 109.00.
Single room-total for 2 nights room and tax - 190.00.
