Georgia All-Star Gymnastics is seeking an experienced, motivated, and athlete-centered leader to help guide and strengthen our Optional Program (Levels 6–10) within one of the most passionate and rapidly growing competitive environments in the Metro Atlanta area.

Our competitive team philosophy centers around not only training great
athletes, but great people. We have created a culture rooted in

SCHEDULE EXPECTATIONS
This is a full-time, in-gym leadership role.

Men’s Gymnastics Team Head Coach

Job Description: MAG Head Coach
Job Summary
The coach will be responsible for the planning and coordination of the MAG competitive program. This includes all competitive levels with input to the recreational program to help develop potential team members.
Support WAG program with spotting and other coaching as needed
Support and coach pre-school, recreational, adult, and WAG programs as required
Hours – 25-40 per week

Responsibilities
Coaching:
• Be certified or able to be certified by USA Gymnastics as a MAG and WAG Competitive Coach
• Provide hands-on coaching during training sessions and competitions, demonstrating proper techniques, developing routines, and offering feedback for improvement to gymnasts
• Plan and structure practices in a safe and professional manner to optimize skill development, conditioning, and routine execution.
• Adapt coaching techniques to accommodate individual learning styles and skill levels
• Travel away to competitions weekends as coach with MAG gymnasts as needed
• Ensure a safe and well-maintained training environment by adhering to safety protocols and reporting any maintenance issues
• Be responsible for the athlete’s safety and welfare in the class set up, cleanup and removal of equipment ensuring the area is safe in preparation for each class as required
• Adhere to the safety rules of the gym including foam pit and trampoline rules
• Fill accident/near miss reports in the event of an injury and Inform parent of injured athlete
• Assist recreation coaches with the boys' recreation class to ensure correct coaching techniques and gymnast development is occurring
• Recruit and select athletes for the competitive team through assessments and evaluations
• Support WAG program with spotting and coaching support as needed
• Coach pre-school program as needed
• Coach recreation programs including adult classes as required
Athlete Development:
• Develop and implement a comprehensive training program that aligns with USA Gym standards and competitive guidelines
• Foster athletes' physical, mental, and emotional growth, focusing on both skill advancement and overall well-being
Class Management and planning:
• Cultivate a cohesive and supportive team culture that emphasizes teamwork, respect, and sportsmanship
• Planning and implantation of yearly, term plans and goal setting for all MAG athletes
• Produce written lesson plans and resources for use if absent
Parent and Athlete Relations:
• Maintain open communication with athletes and their parents, addressing concerns, providing progress updates, and offering support. All communications must go through the office
• Organize meetings or informational sessions to keep parents informed about program goals, training plans, and competition schedules
• Participate in and support the college recruitment process
Administrative Duties:
• Communicate with management and office staff as required on changes to class schedule and team communications (e.g. meet information)
• Complete attendance rolls
• Manage USA Gym membership, meet enrollment and booking travel for travel meets
Qualifications:
• USA Gym MAG coach with Compulsory through Optional Levels Experience (Levels 3-10)
• Previous experience (5+ years) coaching Optional level competitive men's gymnastics and experience spotting WAG athletes
• In-depth knowledge of gymnastics techniques, skills progression, and competition regulations
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to motivate and inspire athletes, fostering a positive and growth-oriented mindset

Team Coaches, full or part time. We would be open to a Head Coach or
general Boys Team Coach for the right applicant.
Our competitive team philosophy centers around not only training great
athletes, but great people. We have created a culture rooted in
positivity, which places value on the development of the athlete as a
whole. This extends to our staff, as we have a dedication to the
development of our employees of all levels. We ask that applicants have

Additionally, we are hoping to start a Men's Collegiate team in the near
future. Individuals with a desire to coach at the collegiate level are
