Qualifications

DP Men's Competitive Gymnastics Director and Head Coach

The DP Men's Competitive Gymnastics Director and Head Coach will work with athletes to safely execute gymnastics skills for levels 3-10 and build their self-esteem. This person will be reliable, compassionate, energetic and be flexible and adaptable to change. This position will be part-time or full-time (30-40 hours per week) and be at our Jam Hops-Blaine/Ham Lake location. Competitive experience preferred in USAG levels 3-10, but not required. You must be available to work evenings and weekends and attend out of town gymnastics meets.

Set up rotations and teach level appropriate skills, following the Jam Hops gymnastics curriculum.
Give valid corrections and comments to athletes.
Display a positive attitude and body language while coaching.

Gymnastics Coordinator

The Gymnastics Coordinator will plan and implement gymnastics programming as it relates to recreational classes, competitive teams, and camps in a safe, positive, educational and fun environment. The Gymnastics Coordinator will also take a leadership role with relevant program personnel and will, under the direction of the Fitness & Sports Manager, coordinate matters related to competition teams. The Coordinator will also foster the physical, emotional, and social growth of youth participants in line with youth development principles.
