As the Boys Competitive Gymnastics Head Coach, you will lead and train athletes at the developmental, compulsory and optional levels (levels 3-10). In this role, you must create daily, weekly and seasonal lesson plans for each level while evaluating individual athlete’s progress and training opportunities. This state-of-the-art, 27,000-square foot facility includes a large gym with two competitive floor areas, floor pits and seating for over 230 spectators. It also features a separate preschool gym, dance studio, and kindergym. The Trousdell Gymnastics Center offers recreational classes and competitive programs for preschool, kindergarten, developmental (elementary age students), teens and adults. Ballet, introductory dance and movement gymnastics classes are also offered for those with special needs. Throughout its 60-year history, this program has given more than 500,000 children an opportunity to participate in gymnastics.

Minimum Training and Experience
Possession of a bachelor’s degree in leisure services, physical education, recreation, history, art culture, or a related field and one year of experience that includes leisure services, teaching, physical education, recreation, or one year of experience that includes the specialty area in which the vacancy exits (such as pool management, gerontology, non-profit administration, history and/or art culture, or senior services); or a degree in public administration, social work or a related field and two years of experience that includes the specialty area in which the vacancy exists; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
