Job Purpose:

Requirements
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Provide a safe, fun, positive and secure setting for team level students to learn the sport of gymnastics.

Supervise and be actively involved with all activities to maintain order and discipline.
Prepare lesson plans and training stations and coordinate practices which are relevant and appropriate for each level of skill.
Keep attendance records and submit
Communicate to Director any problems, concerns, or suggestions regarding athletes.
Report equipment problems or concerns to the Director and uphold all safety-related issues in the gym.
Attend gymnastics competitions while representing our program and the YMCA in a positive and professional manner.
Maintain current certifications relative to your specialty and YMCA guidelines.
Attend staff/coach meetings and training as required per YMCA or Gymnastics Director.
Follow all YMCA policies and procedures related to keeping athletes safe in our facility and programs, including those related to managing parents and guests.
Maintain and project a positive attitude in the gymnastics area and all other areas of the YMCA. Partaking in rumors or negative discussions regarding the gymnastics center, employees, or participants will not be tolerated.
Keep gymnastics center and equipment clean and organized at all times. Assist and maintain cleanliness in gymnastics lobby, camp rooms, rest room areas, etc.
Dress appropriately for coaching, including staff shirt, appropriate pants or shorts, closed-toe shoes, hair pulled back professionally.
Be punctual. Arrive 10 minutes prior to class to set up and prepare for classes.
All other duties as required and necessary.
On-site attendance is required for this position.

Looking for a Boy's Coach Rec/Team

Position Summary
If you love gymnastics and are passionate about helping kids soar and grow, then our Gymnastics Instructor position might be right for you! We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to take over the boys gymnastics program and make it their own under the supervision of the Gymnastics Coordinator. The individual must be willing to take on boys rec classes and help build the competitive program.

Minimum Requirements
Must have competition experience at USAG Level 8 or above
Coaching experience is desired, but not required
Experience working with all ages and ability levels
CPR & First Aid certification is a plus

Enthusiastic Coaches Wanted!

TAGS Gymnastics, in the Minneapolis/Saint Paul area, is now hiring gymnastics coaches for our recreational & team programs in a full or part time role. Competitive compensation for the right individual who shares our values of safety, positivity, teamwork, reliability and customer service.

20-40 hours per week
Mostly weekday evenings and Saturday mornings
$16-35 hourly or $50-75k yearly depending on experience, paid time off (2-6 weeks depending on tenure), 3% 401k automatic contribution, 50% medical, bi annual bonuses, paid training, complementary tuition discount

Team Gymnastics Coach/ Recreational Gymnastics Director

Spirit Athletics is currently searching for coaches for their competitive team and recreational gymnastics programs. Team Coach needs to be qualified to coach up to level 6. Our practices and classes are held Monday through Friday, from 3:30 until 7:30 pm. Part time and Full time positions available with flexible scheduling. We are located in Lugoff, SC, only 30 minutes from Columbia! We have a growing program with over 150 athletes. We have an amazing staff and gym culture!
