Gymnastics ETC in Elizabeth, Colorado is looking for an experienced Recreational Program Director. Our ideal candidate has experience in early childhood growth and development. Has a passion for children and the ability to connect and teach. Experience in planning and executing fun drills and circuits to keep students excited, interesting and expanding on their gymnastics skills for ages 15m-17 years. A take charge individual who is organized and proficient in class planning & management, coach training and all 4 women's events.
Pay is $25-$30 per hour, based on attitude, work ethic and experience. Regular hours for average between 20-25 hours. Additional planning and training hours as well as summertime are available for camps and clinics. This is a part time position with a max of 30 hrs. There is discounted housing available with this position if needed within 1 mile of the gym.
There is a 90 trial period for this position and performance review after trial period. All candidates must be able to pass a background check.

Position Overview
The Team Director is a key leadership role responsible for guiding the culture, development, and daily operations of the competitive team program at LGE @ WV. The director will uphold and embody the core values and principles of Los Gatos Elite, ensuring excellence in coaching, communication, scheduling, athlete development, and staff mentorship. This role demands proactive leadership, clear communication, and high standards of execution across all areas of the program.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Culture
Lead all team staff in alignment with LGE’s core values and principles.
Demonstrate and model exceptional professionalism, teamwork, and positivity.
Staff Development & Management
Conduct ongoing training, evaluation, and mentorship for team coaches, especially within the Future Team and Compulsory levels.
Schedule and facilitate weekly, bi-weekly, and quarterly staff meetings and hands-on training as needed.
Track all staff development efforts via Google Drive, Jackrabbit, and ConnecTeam.
Support hiring, onboarding, and development of new team coaches.
Program Operations
Manage athlete testing, evaluations, and internal movement within the Compulsory Program.
Collaborate with other Competitive Coaches on seasonal and annual scheduling.
Oversee staffing logistics, including subs, transitions, and coach assignments.
Ensure proper rotation, safety protocols, and facility upkeep in coordination with other directors.
Parent & Athlete Relations
Maintain timely and effective communication with parents about program details, meet schedules, concerns, and updates.
Host informational sessions and serve as the primary point of contact for compulsory team families.
Coaching Responsibilities
Regular coaching hours: 25–35 hours per week
Primary groups coached: Levels 3 and up
Additional workshops as needed
Compulsory rotation planning and optional group support as required
Subbing as necessary
Compensation & Benefits
Annual Salary: $70,000-$80,000
Paid Closures: All major holidays and designated seasonal closures
PTO: 40 hours per year + accrued 1 hour per 35 hours worked

Meet Session Pay: $150 per session (in addition to base salary)
Payroll: Bi-monthly (5th and 20th), via ADP

Position Summary

Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required.
1-3 years of demonstrated success in a gymnastics instruction and team environment.
Attain within 6months of hire and maintain USAG Safety Certification and Safe Sport Certification.
Attain (within 6months of employment) and maintain valid Adult/Child CPR/AED certification.

-Communicates to front desk and marketing regarding programming
-Meet scheduling, attendance, and providing photos and a short-written recap post meet to marketing to use for social and newsletter
-Continually assess program for success

-Works with other site Program Directors on overall gym programming and consistency as well as curriculum development
-Participates in National Gymnastics Day and supports at least one other event annually
-Communicating with SGA parents about their child’s progression in your classes. Our coaches play a key role in their development as a child and as an athlete.
-Participating in our paid training opportunities. This can include our SGA University courses, USA Gymnastics clinics, sessions offered by our in-house SGA trainers, and more
-Assist in light cleaning and sanitation duties to keep our gyms fresh and ready for the next round of classes
