Position Overview
The Team Director is a key leadership role responsible for guiding the culture, development, and daily operations of the competitive team program at LGE @ WV. The director will uphold and embody the core values and principles of Los Gatos Elite, ensuring excellence in coaching, communication, scheduling, athlete development, and staff mentorship. This role demands proactive leadership, clear communication, and high standards of execution across all areas of the program.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Culture
Lead all team staff in alignment with LGE’s core values and principles.
Demonstrate and model exceptional professionalism, teamwork, and positivity.
Staff Development & Management
Conduct ongoing training, evaluation, and mentorship for team coaches, especially within the Future Team and Compulsory levels.
Schedule and facilitate weekly, bi-weekly, and quarterly staff meetings and hands-on training as needed.
Track all staff development efforts via Google Drive, Jackrabbit, and ConnecTeam.
Support hiring, onboarding, and development of new team coaches.
Program Operations
Manage athlete testing, evaluations, and internal movement within the Compulsory Program.
Collaborate with other Competitive Coaches on seasonal and annual scheduling.
Oversee staffing logistics, including subs, transitions, and coach assignments.
Ensure proper rotation, safety protocols, and facility upkeep in coordination with other directors.
Parent & Athlete Relations
Maintain timely and effective communication with parents about program details, meet schedules, concerns, and updates.
Host informational sessions and serve as the primary point of contact for compulsory team families.
Coaching Responsibilities
Regular coaching hours: 25–35 hours per week
Primary groups coached: Levels 3 and up
Additional workshops as needed
Compulsory rotation planning and optional group support as required
Subbing as necessary

Annual Salary: $70,000-$80,000
