Scheid started acrobatic gymnastics in 2001 after becoming enthralled by its beauty, grace and originality. She has been a national champion at Levels 6, 8-10 and senior elite. Scheid has competed at numerous international competitions before finally achieving her goal of competing at the 2008 World Age-Group Competition.
In the future, Scheid would like to coach a pre-team and stay involved in acrobatics.

How did you get involved in gymnastics: I love that acrobatics is different compared to any other sport. It involves so many different elements: strength, tumbling, dance, flexibility and skills.
What are your goals for gymnastics?: My goal was to compete at the 2008 World Age-Group Competition, which I did!
