Personal Info Young helped the U.S. men's team to an Olympic silver medal, the men's first medal since the team struck gold in the 1984 Olympics. Young was also a member of the World Championships silver medal team in 2001. His father, Wayne, was on the 1976 Olympic Gymnastics Team and was the 1975 NCAA All-Around Champion. Young graduated with a broadcast journalism major from BYU. His older sister, Jessica, attended BYU on a gymnastics scholarship.
