Durbin was the youngest member of the 1993-94 Men's Senior National Team. He was a member of the bronze-medal team at the 1994 Goodwill Games. Near the end of the Goodwill Games, Durbin was injured, so he was unable to compete at the 1994 Coca-Cola National Championships. He petitioned onto the 1994-95 Senior National Team.
