
Taylor Burkhart, who was the 2019 U.S. junior all-around champion, will attempt to add to his collection of international hardware after claiming silver medals on floor exercise and vault at the Varna World Challenge Cup last month. NCAA still rings champion, Riley Loos, will return to Slovenia after finishing just off the podium in fourth on floor exercise at the 2021 Koper World Challenge Cup. Curran Phillips, three-time NCAA champion and 2022 Winter Cup parallel bars gold medalist, was an integral part of the gold-medal-winning U.S. DTB Pokal Mixed Cup team in March and will look to add valuable experience on the world stage.
Countries are allowed two participants per apparatus. Floor exercise, pommel horse and still rings qualifications will lead off Day 1, and gymnasts will take on vault, parallel bars and horizontal bar on Day 2. The top-eight athletes on each event will advance to the finals with a maximum of two athletes per country. Qualifications for both days will begin at 9 a.m. and continue through 1:30 p.m. ET. Finals are scheduled to take place from 9:15 a.m. until noon ET on Saturday and Sunday.
