INDIANAPOLIS, May 11, 2021 – Over the weekend, Region 1 took the Super Team title at the 2021 USA Gymnastics Development Program Level 9 Western Championships held at the Xtream Arena in Coralville, Iowa. Sixteen all-around champions were determined in eight senior and eight junior divisions as the country’s top women’s artistic Level 9 gymnasts from Regions 1-4 came together for the final women’s Level 9 competition of the 2021 season.

Region 1 edged Region 3 for the Super Team crown, accumulating 52 points over the course of the weekend. Region 3 secured the runner-up spot with 48 points, while Region 4 (40 points) and Region 2 (22 points) finished third and fourth, respectively.
