CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., April 11, 2021 – Individual event champions at the 2021 USA Gymnastics Women’s Collegiate National Championships were crowned Sunday at the Show Me Center in Cape Girardeau, Mo. Winners included Maddie Gose of Texas Woman’s University on vault, Taylor Ann Wilson of Centenary College on uneven bars, Anna Kaziska of Southeast Missouri State on balance beam and Isabel Goyco of Texas Woman’s University on floor exercise.

Gose tallied a 9.862 to take top honors on vault. The United States Air Force Academy’s Tyler Davis (9.812) and Lindenwood University’s Aleah Leman (9.800) rounded out the top three.

Wilson’s 9.875 on uneven bars edged runner-up Maddie Griffith of Texas Woman’s University who notched a 9.862. All-around champion Dahlia Solorzano-Caruso and her Southeast Missouri State teammate Jolie Miller finished in a tie for third with a mark of 9.812.

Kaziska topped the field on balance beam with a 9.912 followed by Gose, Hadley Roberts of Lindenwood University and Alana Fischer of Southeast Missouri State who finished in a three-way tie for second with 9.850.

Kaziska and Gose each posted a 9.875 on floor exercise, finishing in a tie for second place behind Goyco, whose 9.925 earned her the top spot.

Southeast Missouri State won the team title on Day 1 of the event – the first in the program’s history.

The USA Gymnastics Women’s Collegiate Championships is open to Division I, II and III schools whose programs offer fewer than seven-and-a-half full scholarships.
