Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic & motivated individual to join our team as our Xcel Team Manager. The ideal candidate will have a passion for leadership and mentoring, with a background in sports and knowledge of gymnastics, who can oversee our entire Xcel program, and coach our upper level Xcel gymnasts!

We have an amazing lower level Xcel coach who just needs a little oversight to ensure proper technique and progression, and need someone strong and willing to take over our upper level Xcel teams! They have come a long ways, and with the right coaching we are confident they will make a name for themselves!

This position is open for part-time (less than 30 hours per week), or full-time (more than 30 hours per week). We do provide discounts for both part and full time employees! Pay starts at $22+, depending on level of experience! We have an on-going list of benefits we are continuing to grow as well. We pay a coaching fee per session worked for meets, on top of paying mileage + any traveling costs associated with traveling (we are headed to Miami next season!).

Job description
We are looking for an experienced Developmental and Compulsory Coach to accommodate our growing program. We are a small, but competitive program nestled in the Sandy Springs area. We maintain a positive and safe environment with a family-first philosophy for our athletes and staff. 
This individual must contribute to a positive, energetic, and professional environment. 

This position is responsible for aiding in coaching the competitive gymnastics programs specific to the developmental programming and introductory competitive compulsory levels. This individual should provide leadership for the competitive gymnastics programs including athlete development and community relations through effective communication with athletes and their parents. The ideal candidate has a solution-based mindset.  This includes instructing participants effectively, overseeing safety, and creating innovative coaching styles, techniques and drills while maintaining a posh boutique environment.  

The person we are seeking should be able to be successful in a fun and fast-paced environment, has complete knowledge of the USA Gymnastics guidelines, rules, and routines, and is able to spot athletes from developmental levels through mid-level compulsory levels. This individual should be USAG certified and/or be willing to become USAG certified.  This includes, but is not limited to, the USAG background check as well as any other background check required to work with children.
